Please read these terms before using this website or engaging our counselling services. They set out clearly what we do, what we do not do, and what we expect from you.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website and to any counselling, guidance or documentation assistance provided by Sharma Education Academy, located at Building No. 1032, Opp. PNB Bank, Dhab Khatikan Bazar, Near Hindu College, Amritsar, Punjab, 143001. By using this website or engaging our services, you accept these terms.
2. Nature of our services
We are an independent education and admission counselling practice. We provide:
- Counselling on course and career options based on your qualification, eligibility and goals
- Assessment of eligibility against the published rules of universities, boards and institutes
- Guidance on required documents, attestation and correct completion of application forms
- Assistance in understanding the admission process, fee structures and deadlines
3. What we are not
We are not a university, board, college, institute or examination authority, and we are not an agent of any regulatory body. We do not conduct examinations, award credit, or issue degrees, diplomas, certificates or marksheets. All such documents are issued solely by the concerned institution.
4. No guarantee of admission
We do not and cannot guarantee admission, a seat, a particular institution, marks, results or any outcome. Admission decisions are made exclusively by the concerned university, board, institute or authority in accordance with its own eligibility criteria, seat availability, merit, reservation rules and deadlines. Any indication of likelihood we give is an informed opinion, not an assurance.
5. Genuine guidance only — prohibited requests
We provide genuine admission guidance and documentation assistance only. We will refuse, and we ask you not to request:
- Fake, duplicate or unauthorised degrees, diplomas, certificates or marksheets
- Backdated admissions, altered passing years or any manipulation of academic records
- Fabricated, forged or misleading documents, affidavits or declarations
- Enrolment in an unrecognised programme presented as a recognised one
- Any arrangement to sit an examination or complete coursework on a student's behalf
We reserve the right to decline or terminate service, without refund of work already performed, where such a request is made.
6. Information you provide
Our guidance is only as accurate as the information you give us. You confirm that the documents and details you provide are true, complete and your own. We are not responsible for consequences arising from incorrect, incomplete or misrepresented information, including rejection or cancellation of an admission.
7. Fees
The initial counselling conversation is free. Where you ask us to assist with an application or documentation process, our assistance charges are explained to you in advance. Our charges are for counselling and assistance services only and are separate from the fees of any institution.
Institutional fees must be paid to the university, board or institute through its own official channels. Always obtain and keep an official receipt in the institution's name. We do not collect examination fees or tuition fees on behalf of any institution.
8. Recognition, eligibility and course information
Information on this website about courses, eligibility, duration, mode and fees is indicative and provided in good faith for general guidance. Such details are set and changed by the institutions and regulatory authorities concerned, and may change at any time without notice to us. You should verify the current position with the institution before relying on it or making payment.
9. Third-party links and content
This website may link to or embed third-party content, such as maps or institutional websites. We do not control that content and are not responsible for it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from our services is limited to the counselling or assistance charges you have actually paid to us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of an academic year, loss of employment opportunity, or the acts, omissions or decisions of any institution or authority.
11. Intellectual property
The design, text, graphics and illustrations on this website are original and belong to Sharma Education Academy. They may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Amritsar, Punjab shall have jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time you engage our services is the version that applies.
